Stop motion video “The Locked Death”, 2016

When looking for interesting topics to animate in a video, relevant to the town of Kranj, Upper Carniola, where also our organisation is based, we came across the folk tale “The Locked Death”. It was recorded in the 19^th century by the Slovenian poet, linguist and translator Matija Valjavec, who attended school in Kranj and heard this folk tale as a child in a nearby village, where he grew up. The lesson of the story is still relevant today and encourages us to reflect on our existence.
